Biography
Dr. Yow is a professor emeritus of English and American Studies. She joined the faculty at Kennesaw State University in 1982, coming from the University of Georgia. In 2005 she joined the Center for Excellence in Teaching & Learning (CETL) as the Faculty Fellow for Diversity in the Curriculum. Yow was the recipient of the 2006 Vassilas Economopoulos Distinguished Teaching Award from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. She also worked with Dr. Thomas Scott to document the history of KSU and Cobb County by conducting oral history interviews as part of the Kennesaw State University Oral History Project. Dr. Yow retired from Kennesaw State University in 2009.
